PREPLANING RECORD
on the 24ht of September will begin the IV International marathon in Nida. First of all, one firefighter will participate in this marathon and he will try to hit the distance (which is 21,1 km) wiht full fireman equipment (the weight of equipment is 18kg). The personal protective equipment for firefighter comprises:
- protective clothing for firefighters;
-helmet for firefighters;
-protective gloves for firefighters;
-liner for firefighters;
-footwear for firefighters;
-belt for firefighters;
-compressed air line breathing apparatus;
-mask of breathing apparatus.
this distance i wuold like to hit during 1hour 43minutes 40seconds. if i do it, this race would be worth the gratest records of the world (register in a book of Ginnes records), because would be improved the previuos running race which was on the 24th of March,2001 (the runner was William Hugh Mac Lennan). on the other hand, if i don't improve previous record, it would be worth Lithuania's best records.

Neringa city was founded in 1961 at the Curonian Spit peninsula. Spit is composed of four settlements: administrative center Nida, Preila, Pervalka and Juodkrantė.
